Do you have:

        A child with special needs?

       Neuromuscular Injury/Disease?

       Loss of flexibility or balance?

The Anat Baniel Method (ABM) is a revolutionary technique that helps people overcome pain or functional limitations by accessing brain plasticity.  Brain plasticity is the lifelong capacity of the brain to reorganize neural pathways based on new experiences.  In ABM therapy, Joan moves the client in specific, gentle and novel ways. This movement gives the client's brain new information. That information facilitates the development of new neural connections which, in turn, leads to reorganization of movement.  This reorganization can result in better integrated and pain-free movement. It can also result in changes in creativity, in emotions, and in the intellect.

For special needs children, ABM has been shown to improve functioning beyond prognosis.  ABM lessons can result in improved movement skill and, in turn, improved emotional and intellectual functioning.
